Sex (T)ed Talks

Old Main seen through the leaves of a tree.

The Sex (T)ed Talks are an annual winter term event organized and hosted by the Dare to Care Peer Educators with the goal of promoting accurate, inclusive, and sex-positive sexual education. We recognize that many of Knox’s students may not have had a fully informative and/or helpful experience with sex ed, and for this reason, the D2C Peer Educators regularly hold this event to give the Knox community an opportunity to learn (or re-learn) important information regarding topics such as anatomy, STDs and STIs, contraception, and identities. This programming is intended to provide students a chance to learn and ask questions in a protected space. In previous years, the Sex (T)ed Talks have been hosted in both individual suites and common areas on campus; stay tuned for more information regarding the 2021-22 academic year’s plans for the Sex (T)ed Talks!
