The Knox College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Nicole Whittaker, will perform at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 3, in Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts, on the Knox campus in Galesburg, Illinois.
The Knox-Sandburg Community Concert Band, directed by Laurel Etzel, will perform at 7 p.m., Sunday, November 4, in Kresge Hall.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
Guest artists at the jazz concert will include the Cherry Street Combo, which performs weekly at McGillacuddy's in Galesburg; and saxophonist Justin Haynes, a 2004 Knox graduate and band director at ROWVA High School.
The Knox-Sandburg Community Concert Band is a 40-member ensemble that includes local residents and students from Carl Sandburg College and Knox College.
