For Eileen Larmee Chamberlin '77, there's a comfort in the knowledge that her daughter is attending her alma mater. "It's really going to be nice knowing -- visually in my head -- where she is when we talk."
Chamberlin's daughter, Lillie, is one of 26 members of the Class of 2019 who are legacies, or students who followed a relative to Knox. Tyler Paul is following five brothers to Knox -- all members of the Prairie Fire football team. Sonya Fleming is following her father, Patrick Fleming '83. "There's no such thing as a perfect fit," says Fleming, a science major whose daughter wants to study creative writing, "But I know Knox, and know that it will be a good match for her and her needs."
