International careers expert and award-winning author Stacie Berdan will present a lecture, "Launching Your Global Career," on Tuesday, January 14, on the Knox College campus. The lecture, which is open to the Knox College community and the general public, will be at 7 p.m. in Ferris Lounge, Seymour Union.
While visiting Knox, Berdan also will participate in additional activities with Knox students, including a resume workshop for a limited number of students and the "welcome back" dinner for students returning from off-campus study.
Berdan has worked in more than 50 countries. She frequently speaks on college campuses, offering advice on global careers, and she also counsels companies on global issues.
Her books include Raising Global Children, A Student Guide to Study Abroad, Get Ahead by Going Abroad, and Go Global! Launching an International Career Here or Abroad.
The event is hosted by the Eleanor Stellyes Center for Global Studies and the Bastian Family Center for Career & Pre-Professional Development.
