Knox College has once again been named as one of the "Top 10 Hidden Gems" in American higher education, according to ratings published by the Huffington Post.
The list describes Knox as a school where "the education supersedes the recognition," calling it a place with "thriving academics, (an) intellectual student body, and intimate class sizes."
Knox and nine other "hidden gems" appear on the Huffington Post's website as "The Best Colleges You Haven't Heard Of." In addition to Knox, the other schools are Bard College, Bates College, Colorado College, Denison University, Grinnell College, Mount Holyoke College, Sarah Lawrence College, Wabash College, and Whitman College.
Knox also was on the Top 10 list last year.
These schools were chosen for the Huffington Post ranking with the help of survey data from more than 30,000 students through Unigo.com.
