Knox College Senior Art Shows Spring 2013

Knox College presents displays of works by senior studio art majors in a series of individual and group exhibits from April 15 through May 24.

Eight shows will be on display in the Gallery, Ford Center for the Fine Arts; four shows will be held in The Box, a gallery at 125 S. Kellogg St., Galesburg.

From May 6 through May 10, the annual Al Young Art Show, featuring works by Knox students, will fill the Gallery, with the juror's talk and award ceremony at 4 p.m., May 10.

A combined show and reception featuring selected works from all senior studio art majors will be held Friday, June 7 in the Gallery, Ford Center for the Fine Arts.

April 15-19, in the Gallery, works by Lotte Vonk of Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Lucie Clarke of Homewood, Illinois. Reception at 5 p.m., April 19.

April 15-20, in The Box, works by Rebecca Ott of West Des Moines, Iowa. Reception at 2 p.m., April 20.

April 22-26, in the Gallery, works by Zachary Paluch of Chicago and Katie Hansen of Rochester, Minnesota. Reception at 5 p.m., April 26.

April 22-26, in The Box, works by Jill Krippel of Plainfield, Illinois. Reception at 5 p.m., April 26.

April 29-May 3, in the Gallery, works by Estefania Vazquez of Galesburg and Elizabeth Hane of Alameda, California. Reception at 5 pm., May 3.

May 6-18, in the Gallery, the annual Al Young Art Show. Juror's lecture, award ceremony and reception at 4 p.m., May 10.

May 13-17, in The Box, works by Berhane Cole of Glendale, Wisconsin. Reception at 5 p.m., May 17.

May 20-24, in the Gallery, works by Daniel Johnson of Chicago and Laura Castanos of Lindenhurst, Illinois. Reception at 5 p.m., May 24.
