Knox College Welcomes Class of 2016 to Campus

Knox College welcomes the second-largest entering class in 40 years this week, with the opening of residence halls, orientation and greetings from President Teresa Amott, Dean Lawrence Breitborde to more than 400 new students and and their families. Orientation activities continue through Sunday, September 9, with the first day of class on Monday, September 10.

"Today, you're beginning a new part of your life," Lawrence Breitborde, dean of the college and vice president of academic affairs, told the newly arrived students gathered on campus with their families. "Today, Knox's past becomes a part of you, and you become part of the story of Knox's future."
