Kim Ferguson '02, a psychology professor at Sarah Lawrence College, has been selected for "40 Under 40: Professors Who Inspire."

Describing Ferguson as "a game-changing professor," the "40 Under 40" feature celebrates professors and their significant contributions to their schools and communities. It is produced by NerdScholar, a financial literacy website for students.

Ferguson graduated magna cum laude from Knox, with a degree in developmental psychobiology. While at Knox, she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest academic honor society, and earned College Honors for a research project on human development.

At Sarah Lawrence College, her academic interests include cultural-ecological approaches to infant and child development, children at risk, health and cognitive development, and development in African contexts.
