Knox College is one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to new edition of The Princeton Review's annual college guide, "The Best 377 Colleges." The 2013 edition of the annual guide, published by Random House, was released in print and eBook editions on August 21, 2012.
Only about 15% of America's 2,500 four-year colleges and three colleges outside the U.S.A. are profiled in the The Princeton Review college guide.
"Outstanding academics is the primary criteria for our selection of schools for the book," said the guidebook author, Robert Franek, Princeton Review's senior vice president and publisher. "Our choices are based on institutional data we collect about schools, our visits to schools over the years, feedback we gather from students attending the schools, and the opinions of our staff and our 30-member National College Counselor Advisory Board."
Princeton Review does not rank schools academically, but it includes detailed profiles of the colleges with ratings in selected areras based on surveys of students attending the colleges.
