Knox to Host Galesburg Mayoral Forum

Knox College will host a forum for candidates running for the office of mayor of Galesburg at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, in Kresge Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts, on the Knox campus in Galesburg, Illinois. Galesburg's municipal election is on April 7.

All nine candidates for mayor of Galesburg have been invited to participate in the forum. The forum will be moderated by Elaine Wilson, president of the Knox College Student Senate, and Xavier Romano, vice president for student development and dean of students.

The format includes short opening remarks from the candidates and questions from the audience. The event is free and open to the public.

The forum is sponsored by Knox's Office of Student Development and Student Senate.
