Snapshots of Ultimate Tournament

Knox students and alumni competed with Ultimate teams from around the region at the 2011 Natalie Veneziano Memorial Ultimate Tournament, February 19-20 at Knox College. The event is named in memory of Natalie Veneziano, a 1998 Knox graduate and Ultimate player who died of leukemia in 2004. The Galesburg Register-Mail dubbed the sport "part football, part basketball and part-soccer," and spoke with the event organizer, David Kurian '10. "It's definitely the most popular club sport (at Knox)," Kurian told the newspaper.
