Scholars from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom are participating in the 2nd International Symposium on Expeditionary Forces in World War I, being held at Knox College campus from April 27 through 29, 2018.
As part of the symposium, historian Alison Fell will give a free, public lecture, "Far From Home? Perceptions and Experiences of First World War Nurses and Their Patients," at 7:45 p.m., Friday, April 27, in Ferris Lounge, Seymour Union. Fell is professor of French Cultural History at Leeds University, UK.
The symposium is sponsored in part by a grant from the Knox College Committee on Faculty Research.
