Faculty Resources

Faculty mentors will be consulted with throughout the lead-up to HORIZONS. Here’s what you can expect:

• Faculty mentors will receive an email notification if a student has registered and has listed you as their mentor. At that time, you will be asked if you have any concerns about the project. The Vovis Center hopes that you are familiar with the project and you are comfortable with the student presenting the topic at HORIZONS. Please notify the Vovis Center by April 20 if you have any concerns or questions.
• Follow along with the event timeline to stay up-to-date on deadlines. 
• We encourage you to discuss poster/presentation design with your student, especially if this is their first presentation experience. Encourage students to make an appointment with a Richter Ambassador, for presentation support and guidance.
